Answers from your work instructions.Limited to the SOPs and ERP tables you attach.
SOP AI on eManage AI lets plants deploy unlimited specialised agents — each trained on its own SOPs, recipes, or work instructions — then embed them in help desks, shop-floor terminals, and ERP screens with role-based access and version history.

The problem
The knowledge is in PDFs. The work is in the ERP.
Supervisors still WhatsApp a recipe, a buyer spec, or a machine manual. New operators wait on the one person who remembers the exception.
Tribal
SOPs live in drawers
Recipes and packing specs are not searchable at the machine.
Generic
ChatGPT does not know your plant
Public models have no lot, shade, or buyer-wise context — and should not.
Risky
One open assistant for everyone
Accounts prompts must not see payroll. QC must not rewrite rates.
SOP agent vs a generic chatbot
| Capability | Generic GPT widget | SOP AI |
|---|---|---|
| Source of truth | Open web + whatever was pasted | Your SOPs, recipes, and work instructions |
| Scope | One assistant sees everything | One agent per SOP pack and ERP role |
| Citations | Unsourced answers | Page-level cite back to the instruction |
| ERP writes | None, or silent API calls | Propose-write through existing approvals |
| Retrain | Prompt tweaks by IT | Drop a revised SOP, publish a version |
How it works
Four moves.
One write-back.
01
Attach the SOP pack
Upload work instructions, recipes, batch-card templates, or point at an ERP module extract.
02
Scope the agent
Name it, bind roles, set what it may read vs. what it may propose to write.
03
Suggest from the files
The builder proposes starter prompts and evaluation questions from the corpus.
04
Embed and version
Drop it into a help centre, terminal, or ERP screen. Retrain without losing history.
SOP agent
Attach the SOP → scoped agent
SOP PDF, dye recipe, or module extract.
It sits inside eManage AI, not beside it
Answers can deep-link to the roll, job card, or voucher in question. Proposed writes still pass the same approvals as a human clerk.
- Per-agent data sources — process never sees payroll extracts
- Version history when an SOP is revised mid-season
- On-prem inference available so plant documents never leave the floor
Questions plants actually ask
No. You choose on-premise or private cloud. Each agent is scoped to the files and ERP extracts you attach. Public internet models are not the default path for plant documents.
Yes. Agents inherit eManage roles. Most run read-only with a ‘propose write’ that still hits the existing approval workflow.
Each agent has its own SOP corpus, evaluation set, and version. A packing instruction agent will not answer from a finance manual, and it can cite the document page it used.
No. Drop a new SOP PDF, review the suggested prompts, and publish a version. The previous version remains available to roll back.
